LETS TALK!
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR STORY
Our inspiration starts with your story. Share some details about you and your day so we can tell you some more about us.
We are a married Vermont couple who have photographed weddings together in Vermont and throughout the United States for nearly two decades. Here’s the scoop on us:
Sabin’s style is born from an education in art, photography, and filmmaking, which he has applied over years of work in editorial, studio, and wedding photography. His history in the fashion industry has taken him to locations like Barcelona, Spain, Cape Town, South Africa, and South Beach, Miami to work with top models and photo teams. During the last 16 years, he has focused his energy on photographing weddings.
Melissa studied art and photography, graduating with a degree in fine art, and has worked with Sabin from the beginning. Her eye for detail makes her an essential part of the team, especially when it comes to make-up, hair, dresses, suits, and more. She makes sure everyone looks their best, then quietly captures candid moments that are often an exciting surprise for clients.
We believe that achieving remarkable wedding photography is a direct result of building close relationships. The number one thing that couples tell us when we first meet is how awkward they are in front of a camera. Don’t worry, so are we. Our approach to weddings has a lot to do with building trust: the deeper the trust, the better the pictures.
Developing our relationship with you long before your wedding day is what allows us to capture it in a way that is most reflective of you. We spend a lot of time before weddings meeting with our couples face-to-face, on the phone, or by video chat. We have a ton of experience and are pretty good with the camera, but this is what makes the real difference.
On your wedding day we will probably spend more time with you than any other vendor—or guest for that matter; it’s just the nature of the job. We take pride in the fact that our couples tell us how they felt we were a natural part of their experience and not strangers with cameras. Knowing our couples well is the key to our success, and we hope to get to know you too.
